Connect your smartphone to the controller with a longer cable (included in DroneMask 2), place your smarthphone in the lid, put on any application that you like (e.g. DJI Fly), close the lid and put your DroneMask on. It is that simple to enjoy flying your camera drone in FPV.

You can also use the DroneMask with an external HDMI monitor to connect with the DJI RC 2, or with the DJI Raven eye to connect with the DJI RC Pro. 

The DroneMask 2 has some extra features that are not in the original DroneMask.

1. The DroneMask 2 has access holes in the mask to easily interact with the screen. These holes are covered with removable neoprene flaps to keep the light out.

2. All cables needed for drones with USB-C or Micro USB connection to the controller are included in DroneMask 2.

3. The DroneMask 2 is gray, making it heat up less in sunlight compared to the original black DroneMask.

The DroneMask is compatible with most phones that are not wider than 78,1 mm and no longer than 170 mm. This includes, but are not limited to, all models of iPhone, Samsung S6, S7, S8 and S8 edge. However, some phones has a button on the side, that will interfere with our mount (like Sony Xperia and some models of HTC).The DroneMask works with Samsung Galaxy S21.

You may also use the DroneMask with other screens or monitors that fits into its lid; your display dosen't have to be a smartphone.

Yes it does!

The DroneMask does fit well with glasses if they have single-vision lenses, but it does not work well with progressive lenses. Progressives offer multiple prescription strengths within one lens, whereas single-vision lenses feature only one prescription strength.

The DroneMask 2 comes with 1 USB-C to USB-C cable, 1 USB-C to lightning cable and 1 microUSB to USB-C adapter.

DroneMask allows you to use the whole screen for a 2D cinematic experience. In order for other VR goggles to work, the screen on the smartphone has to be split down the middle when showing the drone footage - one screen for each eye. This results in the need for special apps and low resolution flying experience. DroneMask uses a unibody optical solution, which means that we don't split the screen, have amazing screen resolution (4x conventional VR googles) and work with all mobile apps.

You can use both wired and wireless headphones. If you used a wired headset, the cord should go through the zippers.

The DroneMask is a rebranded version of the MagiMask, both offered by the same company, Immerse Optics. The original DroneMask 1 and MagiMask are identical except for the name and logo. However, the DroneMask 2 has been upgraded based on customer feedback. It features convenient access holes underneath for better usability, and comes with all necessary cables and adapters for an easy setup.

The DroneMask is designed for universal compatibility with all camera drones, provided the pilot's controller accommodates the use of an external screen that fits into the DroneMask lid.

This makes DroneMask suitable for a wide range of models from leading manufacturers such as DJI, Autel, Hubsan, Skydio, Xiaomi, Parrot, EXO, Fifish, SwellPro, and Ruko, among others. 

The simplest way to enjoy the DroneMask 2 is using a controller specifically engineered for smartphone display usage, such as the DJI RC-N1. However, for enthusiasts inclined towards the DJI RC 2 [link] or DJI RC Pro [link] controllers, compatibility with the DroneMask 2 can still be achieved through minor adjustments. See the links.

For a wireless connection between your DJI RC Pro and DroneMask, you will need a DJI Raven Eye, an HDMI cable, a mobile device with the DJI Ronin app installed, a compatible DJI drone that works with RC PRO, and of course, your DroneMask.

First, use the HDMI cable to connect your RC PRO controller to the DJI Raven Eye. This wireless video transmitter is key to the setup. Next, slot your smartphone, which should have the DJI Ronin app running, into the DroneMask. The video feed from the RC PRO will be wirelessly transmitted to your smartphone through the Ronin app, allowing you to enjoy a high-resolution, immersive FPV experience directly from the controller.

For those seeking a more budget-friendly solution, consider using the ApowerMirror app or the nExt Camera app. ApowerMirror allows you to cast the RC PRO's display to your smartphone via the controller's hotspot feature. Alternatively, the nExt Camera app lets you connect your smartphone to the RC PRO controller via an HDMI to USB C adapter and a long cable, displaying the drone's camera feed on your smartphone screen through the app.

Shipping times varies. With DHL Express shipping takes between 2-5 working days, and with DHL Global Shipping, shipping can take 7-10 working days.

At DroneMask we operate with a 30 calendar day (from the day you received it) return policy.

If you don't want to keep the DroneMask, you can return the DroneMask within 30 days from the day of purchase for a full refund. Read more about our Refund Policy here.
 
Please keep in mind that only items purchased directly from DroneMask can be returned. Should you want to return DroneMask merchandise not directly purchased from DroneMask, please be advised that we will not be able to process your request.

Moreover, returns that do not qualify for warranty coverage and/or lie outside the legal return period will not be processed. Please make sure that the DroneMask merchandise to be returned is packaged according to the requirements of our carrier.

DHL Global Shipping costs $10, while DHL Express shipping costs $20. 

For destinasion in South America, the shipping price is $40.

The sale includes all taxes and VAT.

The only exception for this is Poland, Austria, Georgia (country), Moldova, Sweden, Turkey, Croatia, Chile and Mauritius.
