1. Could you briefly introduce yourself and describe your role in the DroneMask team?

My Name is Nikolai, and I am the VP of Operations at Dronemask. My role encompasses managing our entire value chain and overseeing the economic aspects of our operations. This involves strategic planning to enhance operational efficiency, and ensuring that our supply chain is robust and responsive to market demands.

2. Walk us through a typical day for you at DroneMask. What does it look like from start to finish?

A typical day for me usually starts with a quick look at my emails and a review of our operational metrics. This is followed by strategic meetings with Vilde, where we discuss scaling strategies, potential market expansions, and partnerships. My day usually wraps up with a look at our performance data and planning for the long-term objectives of the company.

3. What part of working within the drones market excites you the most?

What excites me most about the drone market is that drones are not just about technology; they represent a shift in how businesses can leverage aerial data for more informed decision-making and efficiency improvements. The ability to innovate continually in such a transformative space is thrilling and promises significant impacts on global scales.

4. If you had unlimited resources, what is one project you would dream of launching at DroneMask?

Besides my interest in drones, I am passionate about education. Given unlimited resources, my dream project at DroneMask would be to launch a global educational program. This innovative initiative would combine our cutting-edge FPV masks with practical drone flying experiences, providing a dynamic platform for students around the world. The program's curriculum would be designed to engage students in learning about geography, environmental science, and technology through immersive, hands-on experiences.

5. What advice would you give to someone who wants to start a career in the drone industry?

One advice for those looking to embark on a career in the drone industry is to prioritize learning and knowledge acquisition. A fundamental understanding of the technology behind drones is essential. It's also equally important to familiarize yourself with the regulatory environments, as these rules can significantly influence how drones are operated.
